    各位来宾,女士们、先生们:
    Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,
    下午好!
    Good afternoon!
    今天,我们相聚北京,举行第十届中国国际服装服饰交易会(北京)推介会,旨在通过宣传、展示、推介,进一步增进服交会组委会与各国驻华使馆、商务机构、行业协会、媒体、采购商、参展商的沟通和友谊,扩大第十届服交会影响,稳步推进各项招商、招展工作。在此,我代表第十届服交会组委会对各位的光临表示热烈的欢迎和诚挚的感谢!
    Today we all gather together here in Beijing to enjoy the promotion conference of the 10th China International Fashion Trading Fair so as to further develop a friendly relationship between we the organizing committee of the fair and overseas embassies in Beijing, business institutions, associations of the fashion industry, the media, purchasers and exhibitors as well through ways of advertising, exhibition and promotion, to make our trading fair more well-known and to make it easier while inviting purchasers and exhibitors. Here, I’m honored to extend warm welcome and sincere appreciation to all of you here on behalf of the organizing committee of the 10th China International Fashion Trading Fair.
    宁波市位于东海之滨,毗邻上海、杭州,是长三角南翼的经济中心城市,拥有得天独厚的港口、外向型经济和民营经济发达、城市综合竞争力强等诸多优势。这方面刚才宁波市政府副秘书长陈仲朝先生已作了介绍,在此我不再赘述。下面,我重点就第十届中国国际服装服饰交易会的相关情况向大会作一简要推介。
    Ningbo, a city near Shanghai and Hangzhou, is located on the coast of the East China Sea and is an important city in the south plank of the Yangtze River Delta for its rapid economic growth. Ningbo also boasts its favorable ports, export-oriented economy, well-developed non-governmental enterprises and its overwhelming comprehensive competitiveness among others and so on. Since Mr. Cheng, Vice Secretary-General of the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government has introduced in detail concerning this aspect, I would like to introduce to you all details of the 10th China International Fashion Trading Fair.
    一、 宁波服装产业发展概貌
    I. General Induction of the Garment Industry in Ningbo
    宁波是“红帮裁缝”之乡,中国近代服装业的发祥地,中国的第一套西服、第一件中山装,第一家西服店、第一部西装裁剪书,都出自宁波。
    Ningbo is the birthplace of Hongbang Tailors and the modern garment industry in China. The first western suit, the first Zhongshan coat, the first shop specialized in suit-making and the first reference book for suit-making all originate in Ningbo.
    宁波也是我国重要的服装生产、加工和出口基地,形成了以西服、衬衫、西裤、女装、休闲装、职业装、童装、内衣、工艺服装、皮草等多系列服装,涵盖梭织、针织、家纺、羊毛羊绒等多种纺织服装的产业集群。目前,全市拥有各类服装生产企业3000余家,其中年销售收入千万元以上的服装企业80多家,服装年生产能力近15亿件(套),服装企业数不足全国的5%,销售总量则超过12%。2005年,全市实现出口近50亿美元,占全国纺织服装出口的15%左右。今年上半年,实现外贸出口总额35.7亿美元,增长23%,增幅位居国内第三。产品畅销欧美、东南亚、中东等200个国家和地区,产业外向度达65%以上,居全国前列。其中,OEM已成为宁波服装“走出去”的主要平台。在宁波,90%的服装企业从事OEM生产,2005年实现出口额超40亿美元,占全市纺织服装出口总额的80%。
    Ningbo is an important base for garment making, processing and exportation of a series of garments, including suits, shirts, trousers, women’s wear, casual wear, children’s wear, underwear, artistic clothes, and leather goods and so on. Thus, Ningbo boasts its large number of sub industries in the garment industry, such as industries of tatting, knitting, home textile, wool and cashmere and so on.
    Till now, there are more than 3,000 enterprises specialized in garment making, among which there are more than 80 ones that are able to make more than tens of thousands throughout a year. Each year, up to 1,500,000,000 clothes are made in Ningbo. Though there are less than 5% of all garment enterprises in China, the yearly turnout account for 12% of all in China.
    In the Year 2005, profits made from exportation of garments were up to US $ 5,000,000,000, accounting for about 15% of all in the textile and garment industry in China.
    In the first half of this year, the total exportation profits were up to US $ 3,570,000,000, a 23% rise as compared to the profits made in the last year. We top the third in terms of growth of garment exportation. Our products are favorable in more than 200 countries and districts in Europe, America, South-east Asia, and the Middle East. More than 65% garments are export oriented.
    What’s more, OEM has provided us a good opportunity to help garment enterprises become famous all around the world. More than 90% of garment enterprises in Ningbo are engaged in OEM production, managing to make a profit of more than US $ 4,000,000,000 through exportation in 2005, which accounts for 80% of all profits made by garment enterprises in Ningbo.
    宁波是中国服装名城。拥有雅戈尔、杉杉、罗蒙、唐狮四大中国驰名商标,和太平鸟、培罗成、洛兹等15个中国名牌,形成了国内少见的服装名牌群星辉映的局面。在商务部最新公布的2005-2006年190个重点培育和发展的出口品牌的公示名单中,宁波占20席,居中国首位。在2005年中国服装行业百强企业评选中,宁波分别有7家和8家企业入围产品销售收入和利润总额百强榜。
    Ningbo, a city well-known for its garment making in China, boasts its four significant brands of Youngor, Shanshan, Romon and Tonlion and 15 famous brads of Peacebird, Progen, Rouse and so on, which is rarely seen in other places in China. 20 brands are from Ningbo are among the latest 190 export-oriented brands that are to be paid much attention to and developed, released by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, making the garment industry of Ningbo the top of the industry in China. In the competition for the top 100 enterprises in the garment industry in China, 7 enterprises from Ningbo are among the top 100 in terms of revenues made from products and 8 enterprises from Ningbo are among the top 100 as well in terms of total profits made from garment sales.

    二、 历届服交会(服博会)回顾
    II. Retrospection of the Last 9 Sessions of CIFF
    凭借深厚的服饰文化底蕴和雄厚的服装产业集群优势,中国国际服装服饰交易会已成为中国服装界和会展行业的一张名片。早在1997年,首度亮相的宁波服博会就跻身中国服装展5强。至2004年八年间,服博会沿着国际化、品牌化、专业化、市场化路子,不断扩大规模,提升档次,在国内外专业会展中声誉日隆,先后被评为“A级展会”、“中国十大知名品牌展会”、“IFEA中国最具国际影响力十大节庆活动”等。
    China International Fashion Trading Fair has already become famous in the garment industry in China and in the exhibition industry as well for Ningbo’s profound culture of garment and a group of excellent garment enterprises. As early as in the Year 1997, the first session of CIFF was listed in the first 5 excellent exhibitions in Ningbo. From 1997 to 2004, CIFF has always been persistent in enlarging its scale and promoting its brand through way of internationalization, brand promotion, profession orientation and marketing orientation as well. It gradually become a household name in both international and national professional exhibitions and was once awarded “Fair of A Level”, one of the “Top 10 Brand Exhibition”, one of the “IFEA Top 10 Activities of International Influence in China”.
    2005年,“宁波国际服装博览会”正式更名为“中国国际服装服饰交易会”,将展会的主要功能从“展示”转向“交易”,从注重男装转向涵盖服装服饰全行业。第九届“服交会”共设展位2200个,其中境外和外省市展位约占半数,参展企业来自境外16个国家和地区,三天共接待专业客商3.8万人,其中境外客商约3500人,100多家海内外媒体到会进行全程报道。据相关权威媒体统计,在国内200多个服装节中,宁波服交会在参展商数量、展位数、成交额、行业影响力等方面的综合排名名列前茅,已成为继北京中国国际服装服饰博览会之后国内的第二大服装专业展会。
    In 2005, we change “Ningbo International Fashion Exhibition” to “China International Fashion Trading Fair” for the main function of the exhibition was changed to help trading of garments instead of exhibiting garments and was changed to focus on the whole fashion industry instead of on men’s wear. There are 2,200 booths for exhibitors, more than 50% of whom are exhibitors from 16 countries and districts overseas and other provinces in China in the 9th CIFF. During that three-day fair, we are honored to meet 38,000 professional purchasers, among which there are 3,500 foreign purchasers. What’s more, more than 100 media from both home and abroad cover our fair for a succession of 3 days. According to statistics made by relevant media of authority, CIFF is one of the leading fairs among more than 200 exhibitions in China in terms of number of exhibitors, booths, trade volume and influence in the garment industry. Now we are only next to the China International Clothing & Accessories Fair held in Beijing.

    三、 第十届服交会运作方式及特点
    III. Way of Operation Characteristics of the 10th CIFF
第十届中国国际服装服饰交易会,作为“第十届宁波国际服装节”的核心活动,将于2006年10月22日-24日在宁波国际会展中心举行。本届服交会以“合作、发展、创新、共赢”为主题,展出面积45000平方米,展出摊位2200余个,共设国际品牌服装、国内品牌男装、国内品牌女装童装、出口加工定牌服装和家纺服饰五大专业展区,展品涵盖整个服装服饰产业。通过完整展示服装上中下游产业的最新发展成果和趋势,着力构筑中国南部服装产业的国际贸易平台。为此,组委会积极调整办展思路,创新运作方式,构建工作体系,全力抓好本届服交会宣传、招商、招展、布展、服务五大环节:
    The 10th China International Fashion Trading Fair, a core activity of the 10th Ningbo International Fashion Festival is to be held from 22nd to 24th in October 2006 in Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center. The theme of this year’s fair is “Cooperation; Development; Innovation; Mutual Benefit” and the very fair covers an area of 45,000 square meters with more than 2,200 booths available for five series of garment in terms of garments of international fame, men’s wear of national fame, women’s and children’s wear of national fame, OEM garments for exportation and home textile garments, covering the whole garment industry. We are aiming at establish a platform for international trading of the garment industry in South China by way of showing the latest development and trend of the whole garment industry. Therefore, we are trying our best to advance our thought, to innovate the way of operation, to build up the working system and to make it sure that promotion, purchaser-inviting, exhibitor-inviting, exhibition operation and services of the fair are smoothly carried on.
    (一) 整合宣传资源,加大宣传力度。
    I. To Gather All Promotion Sources 
       To Exert More Efforts in Promotion
    为扩大本届服交会影响,吸引更多境内外服装企业和专业客商踊跃参会,组委会将进一步整合各类媒体资源,加大宣传投入力度,通过多种途径提升交易会的知名度和影响力。一是新闻媒体宣传。组委会将在中央电视台及香港、台湾地区、日本、新加坡、欧洲、美洲、中东地区、北京、上海、江苏、山东、广东、福建、浙江等境内外多家重要媒体投放服交会宣传广告。同时组织他们来甬采访,以新闻动态、专题报道、展会花絮等形式宣传报道服交会。二是电子网络宣传。将在新浪、网易、中国宁波网开辟服交会专业频道,并与中国服装协会网、中国服装网、全球服装报价网、阿里巴巴等行业内主要网站及国内外重要电子商务网站建立链接。三是专题推介及资料宣传。在香港、台北、意大利佛罗伦萨、阿联酋迪拜、日本东京、韩国大丘、北京、上海、深圳等城市举办各类服交会专题推介会,同时分发邀请函、会刊、展商手册、参观指南、地图等形式精美、内容丰富的宣传资料来推介服交会。
    In order to make the fair more influential and to attract more garment enterprises and professional purchasers to attend our fair, we the organizing committee is to further gather all possible media sources and to exert more efforts in the promotion of our exhibition through a variety of ways so as to make the fair more famous and influential. The first method is promotion through news media. The organizing committee is to advertise the fair in both foreign and national major media such as CCTV, and others in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Europe, America, and the Middle East as well. While at the same time, we are to invite them to cover the fair in Ningbo and to broadcast it in terms of dynamic news, specialized reports, and glimpse of the fair and so on. The second method is promotion on the Internet. There will be professional space for the fair on www.sina.com, www.163.com, and www.cnnb.com.cn. There will also be links to CIFF on major websites both at home and abroad like www.cnga.org.cn, www.fbzj.net, www.china.alibaba.com and so on. The third way is specialized promotion and advertisement through materials. We are to hold promotion conferences in Hong Kong, Taibei, Florence, Dubai, Tokyo, Daegn, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen and so on while handing out invitations, magazines concerning the fair, tour guide, maps and other relative materials.
    (二) 明确招商对象,拓宽招商渠道。
    II. To Focus on Potential Purchasers
        To Explore More Ways to Invite Purchasers
    本届服交会将招商工作列为首要任务,加大人力物力财力投入,千方百计邀请专业客商到会洽谈采购。
Purchaser-inviting is the most important task we have to carry out before the fair. We are seeking every way of inviting purchasers to attend the fair and do business by way of exerting more efforts and spending more money on promotion.
    第一,在招商对象上,为强化服交会的交易功能,提高交易会实效,组委会将重点邀请境外专业买家团组、跨国零售集团、华东华南地区专业外贸蓝颜gtv 、国内大型连锁超市等4类专业采购商。力争邀请境外买家3500名以上,国内采购商5000名以上,重要贸易团组100个以上。
    Firstly, in order to make it more professional, trade-like, and effective, the organizing committee will focus on inviting four kinds of purchasers, namely groups of professional purchasers from overseas, international retail Groups, professional import and export companies in both East China and South China, and large-scale super markets in China. We are striving to invite more than 3,500 overseas purchasers, more than 5,000 national purchasers and more than 100 influential groups of trading enterprises.
    第二,在招商方式上,不断创新招商方式,积极拓展招商途径。一是通过广交会、华交会、香港时装节等在境内外有影响的展会平台和电子网络平台做好一批境内外客商的邀请工作;二是通过政府涉外机构、海内外有关代理机构及驻境外企业邀请境外专业买家或贸易组团;三是直接赴境外及国内北京、上海、深圳等重点城市邀请国外采购商、跨国零售集团驻华机构、各类专业外贸蓝颜gtv 和国内大型连锁超市的采购商。
    Secondly, we are to innovate our way of inviting purchasers and to explore more ways in both purchaser-inviting and exhibitor-inviting. The first way is to invite overseas purchasers, who have attended influential exhibitions like the Chinese Export Commodities Fair, East China Fair, and Hong Kong Fashion Week and to invite them through websites. The second way is to invite overseas groups of trading enterprises through governmental institutions in charge of foreign affairs, relative agencies providing international services and foreign-based enterprise. The third way is to go abroad and go to cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen to invite foreign purchasers, foreign-based retail Groups in China, professional import and export enterprises and large-scale super markets.
    (三)形成招展合力,确保招展质量。
    III. To gather All Efforts to Invite Exhibitors
         To Ensure the Quality of the Fair
    为打造国际化专业品牌展会,组委会将进一步健全招展网络,充分调动各级政府、行业协会、展览蓝颜gtv 和国内外代理机构等多方面的积极性,努力提高参展商品的代表性、品牌性和多样性。第一,在区域上,积极开展与国际组织的合作,全力做好海外组团工作,力争国外展位达到25%以上,目前已有一些国家和地区地区明确组展参会;邀请山东、福建、江苏、湖北、天津、浙江等重点服装生产地区的品牌服装企业参展,力争市外国内品牌企业参展率达到25%。第二,在品牌上,加大品牌参展率,力争品牌产品参展率达三分之二以上,其中国际、国家级品牌参展率达三分之一以上。第三,在品种类别上,不仅展示男装、女装、童装、休闲装等,同时展示皮草服装、羽绒服装、工艺服装、家纺、面辅料、服饰品、服装CAD、服装机械等。
     In order to make the fair more international, the organizing committee will further make our exhibitor-inviting system more perfect and try to take advantage of governments of all levels, industrial institutions, exhibition operation companies, and agencies both at home and abroad so as to make sure that all products on display are of fame and of variety. Firstly, we are to carry out international cooperation so as to make sure that 25% of the booths will be ordered by foreign enterprises and till now, there are a number of exhibitors from foreign countries are willing to attend our fair. We are to invite garment enterprises in places proficient in garment making like Shandong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Hubei, Tianjin, and Zhejiang so as to make sure that up to 25% of exhibitors are from out of Ningbo in China. Secondly, we are to make sure that famous brands will be at present, accounting for more than two thirds of all brands in the fair. And among these famous brands, there must be more than one third brands of all which are of international and national fame. Thirdly, there will be a variety of clothes like men’s wear, women’s wear, children’s wear, casual wear, leather clothes, down garments, artistic garments, home textile, accessories, and CAD and garment machinery and so on.
    (四)力求务实创新,提升布展水平。
    IV. To be Practical and created, improving the Decoration Level
    为更好地满足参展企业需求,在总结历届服交会办展经验的基础上,本届服交会在布展上实现四大新突破:第一,国际品牌服装展区将由过去的一个展馆扩展为两个展馆,为更多的国际国内知名品牌提供展示实力、宣传形象的交易舞台。第二,新设出口加工定牌服装展区,旨在为众多的国内中小服装企业与专业买家实现零距离接触提供更广泛、直接的OEM贸易合作平台。第三,鼓励品牌和实力企业特装展示、模特走秀、品牌推介、供求对接、洽谈交易,展会特装率达40%以上;由组委会向参展中小企业提供统一设计、改装的标摊,展会改装率达60%左右。第四,为提高参展实效,降低参展成本,防止相互攀比,同时为广大中小企业提供更大参展空间,力求公平贸易,本届服交会严格限制单个展商的展出面积,对参展面积实行分档设限。
    Four new breakthroughs will be fulfilled in the CIFS on the conclusion of all the previous exposition to meet the participating companies’ need. Firstly, the international brand display area will enlarge from one hall to two halls, form a platform for much more famous brands in and out in displaying their strength, and propagate their images. Secondly, aimed to provide zero-distance touch between middle or small-scaled enterprises and professional buyers, supplying an extensive and direct platform of OEM trade, the new display area for export processing is established. Thirdly, special-decorated showcase is encouraged to put in use for strong and branded enterprises, including other promotion ways like model performance, brand introducing, joint of need and supply, talking and trade, the special-decorated rate of whole exposition will be over 40 percent. The improved covering rate of standard booth that supply to middle or small-scaled enterprises will reach 60 percent of the whole exposition. Fourthly, to improve practical efficiency, lower the cost and prevent irregular competition, the CIFF makes a strict limitation of display area in different levels. That is also for the purpose of fair trade and supplying larger space for extensive middle or small-scaled enterprises.
    (五)健全服务体系,打造精品展会。
    V. To Strengthen the Service System, Creating High Quality Exposition
    为办好本届服交会,组委会将根据参展商和采购商的需求,进一步完善展会服务,建立展前、展中、展后一条龙服务体系。展前,对采购商的采购意向和参展商的供货意向进行汇总整理并对外发布,便于参展商和采购商迅速找到目标客户群。展中,为方便参展企业和采购商对接洽谈,开辟专门的供需双方信息发布和商务洽谈区,为买卖双方提供良好的贸易环境;同时切实做好展会展品运输、保安、展具租赁、展会用餐、用水等相关后勤保障服务。展后,进行参展商、采购商满意度跟踪调查,不断提高会展服务质量。
    In order to carry out the fair smoothly, the organizing committee will further develop ways of all-the-way service upon request of exhibitors and purchasers. Before the fair, we are to make a list of all the opinions put forward by both purchasers and exhibitors so as to make it easier for purchasers and exhibitors to find their favorable clients. During the fair, with the purpose to make it easier to carry out business negotiations, we are to leave space for exhibitors and purchasers to put forward their product information and to carry out business talking so as to provide a favorable trading environment for both of them. We are also responsible for transportation of products, public security insurance, renting of exhibition tools, meals and drinking water during the exhibition, and so on. After the fair, we are to carry out investigations on the extent of satisfaction of both exhibitors and purchasers so as to continuously improve the quality of service.
    四、招商招展主要优惠举措
    Ⅳ.Preferential Measures to Booth Selling and Buyer Inviting
    为进一步做好本届服交会,吸引更多专业采购商和参展商参会,组委会将采取以下优惠举措:
    In order to make this year’s CIFF much better, to attract much more professional buyers and exhibitors, we are to provide the following preferential measures as follows:
    1、各地组织本区域纺织服装企业参加本届服交会,实行组团展位优惠价格,1号展馆特装净展地(按90平方米起租)RMB 700元/ m2(原RMB 880元/ m2);2-6号展馆特装净展地(按36平方米起租)RMB 400元/ m2(原RMB 600元/ m2),异形标摊RMB 4500元/9m2(原RMB 6800/9m2);
    I. The textile & garment companies which are organized from their own area as a group to attend the CIFS share the preferential price as follows: Net ground in Hall 1 (90 m2 for sale at least) is sold at RMB 700Y/ m2 , the original price is RMB 880Y/ m2 ; Net ground in Hall 2 to 6( 36 m2 for sale at least) is sold at RMB 400Y/ m2 , the original price is RMB 600Y/ m2 ; Improved standard booth is sold at RMB 4,500Y/9m2 , the original price is RMB 6,800Y/9m2 .
    2、由组委会自行出资RMB 1400-1500元/展位,将原标准展位统一改装为异形标摊,提供给各参展企业;
    II. The original standard booth will be improved and decorated to the using of participating companies on the organizing committee’s expense, which will cost RMB 1,400Y to RMB 1,500Y for each.
    3、组委会将为境外专业买家和跨国零售集团驻华机构来甬的重要采购团组免费提供3天餐饮2天住宿,并安排相关活动;
    III. The organizing committee will provide dinners for 3 days and accommodations for 2 days to any outbound professional buyers and important buying groups from inbound offices of transnational corporation, also including related activities arrangement.
    4、对各地政府机关、行业协会、会展机构等负责组织本地区纺织服装企业、外贸蓝颜gtv 、大型连锁超市等国内采购商前往参加本届服交会(组展20个展位以上,组织采购商20人以上),组委会将为其相关工作人员(2-3人)免费提供食宿(三天两宿)、考察等活动安排。
    Ⅳ. Any government, association and exposition construction who organize textile & garment companies, export companies, supermarket as a group of participating company (20 booths at least)or professional buyer(20 persons at least), 2 to 3 workers of the organizer will be shared freely as dinners for 3 days , accommodations for 2 days and business visit etc.
